Your muscles need to be replenished so they can grow after a grueling workout. Here is the protein shake that will maximize your hard work at the gym.
You will need:
Ice: A little bit of water never hurt anyone! |
Peanut Butter: Packed with protein, manganese, and niacin, when eaten in moderation can fight heart disease and promote weight loss |
Low-fat milk. 2% is fine. All calcium and protein for healthy bones and muscle |
Bananas, packed with potassium, fiber, and vitamin B6 |
Chocolate Protein powder packed with muscle building powers like amino acids |
You will also need an ice shaver and some sort of blender.
My Instructions for Making a Chocolate Protein Shake:
1. Add ice, protein powder, and milk in the blender. And pulse for a few seconds.
2. Add cut up banana and a tablespoon of peanut butter in the mix. Pulse a bit more.
3. If the shake is too thick, add a little more milk. If too thin, and more ice.
4. Drink up as soon as you finish at the gym.
