Makeup's For Men, Silly!

Makeup is one of those things that all women consider 24/7, and men rarely even think about. What a shame! I will give you some male situations below that may warrant makeup:

"I popped a pimple and it's all red and gushy and stuff"

"I shaved and my sensitive skin is inflamed after the blessing stops"

"My eyes are swollen from working all night"

"I bruised myself from doing man stuff like sports and power tools and hunting deer"

Whatever your situation, there is one special product that all men should have: tinted moisturizer! Now, this doesn't sound like makeup. Simply, it sounds like a part of your skin care regimen. The ladies know that tinted moisturizer is makeup! If it's tinting, it's makeup! But this product will fix all the problems from the scenarios listed above. I like it especially for scenario #2.

My pick for best tinted moisturizer is Kiehl's Ultra Facial Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 Sunscreen:

From Kiehls.com: Our light-weight tinted moisturizer with Apricot Kernel Extract, Chamomile, and Royal Jelly, is readily absorbed by the skin to hydrate and impart a healthy-looking, fresh, and natural-looking hint of coverage. With added sunscreen, the formula affords protection from the sun's harmful UV rays.

The product is contained in this ultra-masculine packaging with light, medium, and dark tints. The cover-up works wonders, especially when you need to look your best when you're in class, on a date, or in the office before your big presentation. Not to mention, the SPF 15 Sunscreen provides much need protection for your face during the summer months at the harmful UV rays that come with it. I do not recommend using this everyday, as it can make you look cakey and people will definitely notice. Definitely use it as needed. The product can be purchased for $24.50 USD at kiehls.com or picked up from department stores like Sak's Fifth Avenue.

My Instructions for Using Kiehl's Ultra Facial Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 Sunscreen:
1. Exfoliate the area and wash away with tepid water
2. Apply toner using cotton swaps
3. Air dry skin completely or dab with a paper towel
4. Use tinted moisturizer instead of normal facial lotion by applying little dabs at a time and rubbing the color in an outward direction so that it blends evenly.
